Emergency rooms are ghastly. I have a bit of a medical phobia (ironic, considering that I worked in health care for most of my working life) and being in an E.R. makes me start feeling panicky, which is not very helpful. Also, after all these years, you'd think they could do something about making the gurneys longer. I'm five foot six, not a giant by any means, and my feet still stick off the end.
A haven for creative people living with mental illness. This is the place where you can tell it like it is, not yet another place where you have to pretend to be someone you've been told you should be.

The Valley-Voice Newsletter: Shadow Shot Sunday - The Way Out
The Valley-Voice Newsletter: Shadow Shot Sunday - The Way Out: Shadow Shot Sunday 2 takes me back a week. For me a (non-serious) issue brought me to the ER at Griffin Hospital in Derby.
