So true! One of the reasons I don't trust mental health "professionals" is because so many of them I've encountered seem really emotionally repressed and arrogant. They don't behave like human beings. They sit looking down on their clients from some sort of imagined ivory tower. I really do not believe such a person can help me, and I have my suspicions that they may be even more fucked up than I am. These people are not there to help us learn how to be happy. They are there to teach us how to conform and to give us pills to suppress our impulses to rebel against being treated like shit.
