My great-uncle was a mortician. He definitely didn't fit the stereotype of the cadaverous (pun not intended) fellow in a dark suit with slick black hair. He was a gregarious, slightly round fellow who wanted to help people through the most difficult time in their lives. He was just 64 years old when he died from prostate cancer. He had a house by a lake and it was pleasant to watch the sunset there.
