Ornery Poetry Sunday: Bully Is As Bully Does

Image by Andrew Martin from Pixabay

I don't know who needs to hear this today
But if you are bullying a bully
The way the bully bullies his victims
Using the same cruel words as he uses
You have just become a bully yourself

I am feeling quite heartbroken today, close to suicidal. I feel that my work is worthless as am I. But I will try to believe and will keep going just in case things can improve somehow.

I wish you all the best.

  1. Bullying is contagious isn't it? Sadly without a vaccine.
I do hope you can keep going. Please keep going. And send me an email (or six) if it helps.

    1. I keep trying to remind myself that there's only 10 days left before we should be done with that trailer for good. The park manager put me in a bad position by asking if I would ask the real estate agent to cancel the current contract so she (the park manager) could buy the place from me. The real estate agent was furious with me. I don't do well with conflict and am feeling like everything is my fault. I just don't know why I bother sometimes.

    2. Neither do I do well with conflict. I distrust those who do.

    3. My housemate is one of those who loves a good debate. Which is not the same as conflict, but neither my son nor I like to debate. We prefer to find points of compromise where possible. My father was one of those "loves a good debate" people too. My mother isn't so much. She just loves being right.
