Esther Jones: I Just Live Here: OctPoWriMo 15 - So Wrong

Esther Jones: I Just Live Here: OctPoWriMo 15 - So Wrong: I thought I knew the truth, But I was oh so wrong. I didn’t have a clue. I thought I knew the truth, But then I saw anew, And I learned I am...

I still don't know what to do with how wrong I was on some counts. I suppose we should be proud of ourselves that we are able to learn. However, it would have helped a lot if I'd known certain things long ago. Or would I have been too stubborn to do anything different?

  1. So very familiar.
My father told me I am more stubborn than stains (I wonder where I got it from). Sadly that characteristic has hurt me as often as it has helped.

    1. Ah, yes, I have been decried as stubborn on more than one occasion. It's a quality that I don't think helps too many of us. My son can be very stubborn, and on the occasions when he is, there's no getting through to him. He has to find out for himself.
